I have added this page for internet users who have been contacted by Mike Meier. The goal here is to open the lines of communication between accused internet users so that a person contacted by this firm can share with others what was said. It is also a good place to discuss the cases for which Meier is the plaintiff attorney. Should you learn of any updates regarding one of his cases, please post it here using the following format — (e.g., “Digital Sin, Inc. v. Does 1-245 (Case No. 11-CV-8170) filed in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York”). Please also feel free to post new cases you find on the http://www.rfcexpress.com website where Meier, his firm, or any of his local attorneys (if any) are listed as the plaintiff attorney.
Remember to please exercise discretion when posting (e.g., do not post your real name or e-mail address), and as usual, avoid using vulgar or offensive language (both towards Meier and towards other users).

I received a letter from Verizon on Wednesday and went into complete disbelief and shock. After 2 sleepless nights, I have finally gotten my head together. I live in an area where houses are very close to each other and I can see 15-20 wireless connections at any time. My password for router was the default as I have never changed it since it was installed.
The case is 1:11-cv-02299-BAH filed by Mike Meier in behalf of Media Products Inc. Has anyone been persued by this scum on earth? What is his tactic? Any experience, advise?
I am planning on doing the following:
1) Not file the MTQ. The case is filed in Washington DC and Northern District of Texas. The judge on my case Beryl Howell does not seem to have a reputation for being defendent friendly.
2) Wait for the phone/mail and tell them to goto hell as I have not done it. I have checked my computer 10 times and don’t have the files and their is only one computer in the house.
3) Will wait and take action after that. As I see it, giving the trolls 2-3K is same as finding a lawyer and going to court. My only concern is that to be associated with a A** F*** flicks is not the ideal situtation. But I know the trolls know that and are exploiting it. I am willing to subject to any forensic study they want. I know they will find CNN and NBC website videos, nothing else.
Anyone accused in the recent Discount Video Center (via Mike Meier Law Group) v Does 1-80 (Case 11-CV-01977-RWR)? Any paid the settlement amount?
Any idea on his operation tactics? any input?
Mike Meier is one of the Copyright Enforcement Group’s attorneys. This is the same group which is associated with Ira Siegel, so expect similar if not identical practices as you read in the Ira Siegel cases.
This tidbit of news was interesting. Mike Meier is one of Copyright Enforcement Group’s attorneys. Yet, it appears as if he is filing cases for the Patrick Collins, Inc. client.
