  2. No doubt Millennium TGA, Inc. must be paying Steele Hansmeier, PLLC (now Prenda Law Inc.) a pretty penny. Prenda has been going all out for this client of theirs, really trying to use them to make a dent in favor the the copyright trolls’ case for legitimacy.

They started out also as a flop — I wrote about their original case here and here. Since then, they’ve gotten into a tangle with Comcast, and Prenda filed a lawsuit against them in DC attempting to compel Comcast to give over the names of the defendants in their Southern District of Texas case. No luck there. Now their own local counsel here (Doug McIntyre) is taking bittorrent cases of his own unrelated to Prenda’s bittorrent clients.

  3. One more thing. You see Millennium TGA, Inc. is not worried about paying huge amounts of legal fees in order to have Prenda Law Inc. “name” their defendants. As you can see above, without warning, David Lin named Joel Leon in the Eastern District of New York. Gutsy considering what has already happened there and the clear disdain judges there have for copyright trolling cases.
