I have added this page for internet users who have been contacted by Paul Lesko, or any of his attorneys at Simmons Browder Gianaris Angelides & Barnerd LLC. The goal here is to open the lines of communication between accused internet users so that a person contacted by this firm can share with others what was said. It is also a good place to discuss the cases for which Lesko is the plaintiff attorney. Should you learn of any updates regarding one of Lesko’s cases, please post it here using the following format — (e.g., “4 TWENTY MEDIA INC. v. Does 1-1,341 (Case No. 6:12-cv-00031) filed in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Louisiana”). Please also feel free to post new cases you find on the http://www.rfcexpress.com website where Lesko, his firm, or any of his local attorneys (if any) are listed as the plaintiff attorney.
Remember to please exercise discretion when posting (e.g., do not post your real name or e-mail address), and as usual, avoid using vulgar or offensive language (both towards Meier and towards other users).
While Paul Lesko has been affiliated to date with the 4 Twenty Media, Inc. (“4Twenty”) copyright infringement lawsuits, it looks as if Lesko has picked up a new copyright trolling company (this one with a bad reputation — not sure whether Lesko is aware of this). His newest case (to my surprise):
West Coast Productions Inc v. Swarm Sharing Hash Files Does 1-1980
(Case No. 6:12-cv-01713), filed in the Western District of Louisiana District Court.
Background:
West Coast Productions, Inc. is a company who likes to hop from one plaintiff attorney to another. They have been affiliated with the lawsuits in West Virginia under Kenneth Ford as the plaintiff attorney (now in prison); they sued thousands in DC using attorney Nick Kurtz, formerly with Dunlap Grubb & Weaver, PLLC; and, more recently, they have retained Doug McIntyre, one of Prenda Law Inc.’s local attorneys who is now filing cases on their behalf. If you are an aspiring attorney who would like to be a copyright troll, perhaps West Coast Productions, Inc. will hire you too.
Are you aware of the movie names in 3 of Paul Lesko’s lawsuits?
4:Twenty Media: Teen Anal Sluts
WCP: Super Anal Black Cougars
WCP: Phat Black Juicy Anal Booty 8
I’m not joking!
Seems that Paul has incredibly narrow (I would even say “tight”) specialization as an attorney.
My assistant has compiled a list of Malibu Media, LLC cases (current as of 8/17/2012).
