I have added this page for internet users who have become entangled in the West Coast Productions, Inc. cases. The goal here is to keep up to date on this plaintiff, and to discuss their various cases. Should you learn of any updates regarding one of their cases, please post it here using the following format — (e.g., “West Coast Productions Inc v. Swarm Sharing Hash Files Does 1-1980
(Case No. 6:12-cv-01713) filed in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Louisiana”). Please also feel free to post new cases you find on the http://www.rfcexpress.com website where West Coast Productions, Inc. is listed as the plaintiff.
Remember to please exercise discretion when posting (e.g., do not post your real name or e-mail address), and as usual, avoid using vulgar or offensive language (both towards the plaintiff and towards other users).
Just a bit of a background on West Coast Productions, Inc. to date:
West Coast Productions, Inc. (“WCP”) is a company who likes to hop from one plaintiff attorney to another. They have been affiliated with the lawsuits in West Virginia under Kenneth Ford as the plaintiff attorney (now in prison); they sued thousands in DC using attorney Nick Kurtz, formerly with Dunlap Grubb & Weaver, PLLC; and, more recently, they have retained Doug McIntyre, one of Prenda Law Inc.’s local attorneys who is now filing cases on their behalf. If you are an aspiring attorney who would like to be a copyright troll, perhaps West Coast Productions, Inc. will hire you too.
I have written many articles on them over the past few years, as they were one of the first (and the largest) copyright trolls. I am linking to them here so that you can see that while the cases and their plaintiff attorneys are new (I expect new copyright trolls to be hired by West Coast Productions, Inc. in the coming months, as suing internet users appears to be their current business model), their cases still smell of the old style trolling lawsuits.

“Forum Shopping” is the link between the TX & DC “Millennium TGA, Inc.” lawsuits. (mentioning Doug McIntyre first taking on the West Coast Productions, Inc. client) (posted on 5/16/2012)
West Coast Productions’ newest case is West Coast Productions Inc v. Swarm Sharing Hash Files Does 1-1980 (Case No. 6:12-cv-01713) filed this past Monday, 6/18/2012 in the Western Louisiana District Court.
The most interesting part of this lawsuit is 1) it is not filed by Doug McIntyre (who I thought would have an exclusive on their new lawsuits), and 2) it was filed by Paul Lesko, the attorney (a.k.a., “copyright troll”) who has been going after John Doe Defendants in his 4 Twenty lawsuits.

The latter case is based on the classy Teen Anal Nightmare 2: the previous lawsuit based on the same smut was handled by a disgraced felon Kenneth Ford — ArsTechnica wrote about it (and followed up).
Sure, DGW is a reputable lawfirm.
Another recent case filed by Paul Lesko is West Coast Productions, Inc. v. Swarm Sharing Hash Files in E.D. Mo. 4:12-cv-00748 filed 6/18/12. Lesko is an associate with Simmons, Browder, Gianaris, Angelides & Barnerd.
