How to get started with the Cashman Law Firm, PLLC

You clicked on the “contact us” page, so here is how to get your questions answered.  You can schedule a call to speak to a human (me), you can e-mail me, or you can fill out a form and have me get back to you ASAP.

You have obviously arrived on this page because you are looking to get assistance with either your lawsuit, or some subpoena or DMCA settlement demand letter you received.  Maybe you just have a quick question and want an attorney to give you a quick answer from both a legal and practical perspective (after all, knowing both the lawsuits, the judges, AND the attorneys and how each interacts has been the reason we have helped so many accused defendants).  For this, please feel free to e-mail me, or fill out the contact form below.

My name is Rob Cashman, and as the owner of the Cashman Law Firm, PLLC (and the author of the TorrentLawyer blog), I obviously want you to schedule an appointment in order to have me represent in your lawsuit (and there are many ways for an attorney to represent you).  If you are not ready to hire an attorney, but you just want me to explain to you your options on how to proceed, please also feel free to schedule an appointment.  I will still assist you and answer your questions WHETHER OR NOT you become a client.

Why I prefer that you set up a phone consultation.

The reason I prefer that you schedule a phone consultation is because based on the number of people who call us, you should expect to end up in a voicemail which may or may not get immediately answered if you call (although I do often immediately reply to voicemail messages with SMS if I can).  If you really want to speak to me, set up a phone consultation.  I don’t charge for it, you get the benefits of confidentiality from the attorney-client privilege (even if you do not become my client, what you tell me remains confidential), and I don’t have to worry about missing your call because I have a busy schedule or because I’m in court representing another client in another lawsuit (or, perhaps even the same one you are contacting me about).

In sum, if you want a quick answer to your question or comment, then please feel free to either e-mail me, or fill out the contact form below.  If you actually want to speak to me about your lawsuit, your DMCA settlement demand letter, or the subpoena letter you just received from your ISP, again, set up an appointment.

Follow the three methods below to contact a Cashman Law Firm, PLLC attorney:

Method #1: E-mail me, or fill out the Contact Form (for quick questions).

If you are looking for some quick feedback, or answers to your questions, please feel free to e-mail me at [email protected] by clicking here (a window should pop up if it worked right, if not, you still have the e-mail address), or fill out the contact form below.  What you share will remain private and confidential.

Method #2. Schedule a phone appointment to speak to an attorney about your matter.

NOTE: No attorney client relationship is established by sending a contact form or by setting up a phone consultation, and while the attorney-client privilege (which keeps everything that you share confidential and private) attaches immediately when you contact me, I do not become your attorney until we sign a contract together.  That being said, please do not state anything “incriminating” about your case when using this form, or more practically, in any e-mail.

Method #3: Call me or send me a SMS.

As I said before, if you call, my answering service or my assistant might answer the phone (even at time I will pick up the phone), but I will not have time to sit and chat with you (and here is why).  This is why I have the phone consultations (the free phone appointments).  However, if you want me to quickly look at something or give you a quick answer, either e-mail me at info[at]cashmanlawfirm.com, or you can send an SMS message to the phone number below.

    Office / SMS: (713) 364-3476

If I am in court or representing another client, I will forward the call to voicemail.  I look forward to giving you some relief about your lawsuit, or at a very minimum, giving you some clarity so that you understand the various options on how you can proceed… with or without me as your attorney.
